Ombak Rindu

Baru lepas terpandang preview filem 'Ombak Rindu' kat Astro Citra..macam best.. cari dalam youtube..ni je yg dapat.. hehe..
Tak sabar nak tengok 1st December nanti.. :-)

In order to celebrate my husband's graduation, we went to Pizza Hut and try the new Ultimate Cheesy 7.  With 7 types of cheese you may indulged in plus 3 added toppings that you may choose (optional).. It's definitely a heaven for cheesy lovers.. oh..there's also a contest that you may participate if you spend at least RM30 for the pizza.
Here's the pizza on the menu..the 7 cheeses are romano, monterey jack, parmesan, provolone, mozarella, cheddar and Philadelphia cream cheese..


You may choose the set or a'la carte (Maybankard holders get 30% off)- just like we had..hehe..


Here comes our pizza..Ultimate Cheesy 7 with chicken (and mushroom) topping. or you may choose to add pepperoni or hawaiian chicken. (add RM2, if I'm not mistaken). if you just want to taste the cheese, no need to add the toppings.. :-)

you may put the ball aside and dip the pizza with it...


OR.. you can spread it on your pizza (just like my husband did)..

Situasi..

Situasi 1:
Di sebuah sekolah:
Pelajar A: Dapat 9A!! Seronoknya!
Pelajar B: 1A pun tak ada..kecewanya...hmm..

Situasi 2:
Di dalam sebuah pejabat:
Pekerja A: Aku naik pangkat lagi..gaji pun naik..
Pekerja B: Dah lama aku kerja kat sini.. tapi masih di takuk lama juga..

Cuba anda bandingkan situasi di atas.. memang berbeza kan?
Semua orang pasti inginkan situasi yang dialami oleh pelajar A atau pekerja A. Tetapi, ada masanya kita akan menghadapi situasi seperti yang dialami oleh pelajar B atau pekerja B.

Jika dilihat dari zahirnya, pasti situasi si A lebih menyenangkan dan si A pasti sangat gembira. Tetapi, adakah kegembiraan itu diiringi dengan rasa syukur dan berterima kasih? Boleh jadi si A akan berasa bangga hingga lupa siapa yang menempatkan dia di tahap itu..mungkin juga dia akan berasa yang dirinya lebih baik dan lebih tinggi dari orang di sekelilingnya hingga sanggup memperkecilkan orang lain..

Situasi yang dialami oleh si B agak mengecewakan. Dia mungkin akan berasa rendah diri dan lebih teruk lagi dia akan kehilangan keyakinan diri. Dia akan berasa kecil di kalangan orang sekelilingnya dan mungkin ada suara-suara sumbang yang akan memperlekehkan dirinya.

Kesimpulannya, situasi si A dan situasi si B adalah UJIAN daripada Allah s.w.t. Bagaimana kita membawa diri dan menghadapi situasi itu yang akan membezakan kita sesama manusia. Tiada bezanya si A dan si B jika mereka tidak menyedari daripada siapa datangnya situasi itu. Kekayaan dan kemiskinan, kesihatan dan kesakitan, menjadi pemimpin dan rakyat biasa, dan perkara-perkara bertentangan yang lain adalah dua bentuk ujian yang SAMA TAPI TAK SERUPA.
Renungkanlah.

Crazy for books!

Assalamualaikum..

Last Saturday, me and husband went to MAEPS Serdang.. book hunting again! hehe..this time it is the BIG BAD WOLF BOOK SALE.. I just knew about it on Friday through facebook..so on our way back to my in-laws home, we managed to drop by at the sale.. it was HUGE ! we took a trem to go to the hall and the people was like thousands.. and I was like..'rambang mata' because the prices are super LOW!.. so, as we are very concern about our budget thus I have to put back some of the books..so I just bought these:

Insomnia (source: Yahoo health)

Insomnia is difficulty falling or staying asleep. 

In many cases, it can be relieved with a few simple behavioral changes or medication. Talk with your health care provider if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Difficulty falling asleep
  • Excessive sleepiness during the day
  • History of falling asleep during the day at inappropriate times
  • Nightmares or disturbing thoughts that keep you awake
  • Pain, frequent urination, or unusual sensations that keep you awake
  • Significant trouble getting out of bed in the morning
  • Sleep that does not refresh you
  • Waking up several times throughout the night
  • Waking up early in the morning
Here are some simple tips to get a better night's sleep:
  1. If possible, go to bed and wake up at the same time each day.
  2. Avoid performing activities such as eating and working in your bed.
  3. Avoid strenuous activity 2 hours before going to bed.
  4. Avoid caffeinated and alcoholic beverages in the evening.
  5. Avoid eating heavy meals at least 2 hours before going to sleep.
  6. Develop a bedtime routine that includes calming, relaxing activities.
  7. Make sure your sleep environment is quiet, dark, and is at a comfortable temperature.
Do something relaxing just before bedtime (such as reading or taking a bath) so that you don't dwell on worrisome issues. Watching TV or using a computer may be stimulating to some people and disturb their ability to fall asleep. If you can't fall asleep within 30 minutes, get up and move to another room and engage in a quiet activity until you feel sleepy.

One method of preventing worries from keeping you awake is to keep a journal before going to bed. List all issues that worry you. By this method you transfer your worries from your thoughts to paper, leaving your mind quieter and more ready to fall asleep.

HOW MUCH SLEEP IS ENOUGH?
While 7 - 8 hours a night is recommended for most people, children and teenagers need more. Older people tend to do fine with less sleep at night, but still require approximately 8 hours of sleep over a 24-hour period. The quality of sleep is as important as how much sleep you get.
