Makan sate Kajang di Kajang..

Assalamualaikum,

Alhamdulillah..dah beransur pulih.. harap-harap tak terjejas dengan penghawa dingin makmal yang sejuk tahap beku ni.. hehe..
Minggu lepas balik Kajang.. malam tu pergi makan sate. Sate yang popular dekat Kajang ni biasanya Sate Kajang Hj Samuri dan yang terbaru Sate Willy. Kalau ikutkan lokasi, Sate Willy dekat saja dengan rumah mertua saya tapi disebabkan Sate Willy dekat Ramal Food Junction tu selalu diserbu orang, kami pergi makan jauh sikitlah.. hehe..
Kami makan sate di Medan Sate Kajang (berhadapan dengan Plaza Metro Kajang dan KFC Kajang). Sate ni kepunyaan keluarga Hj Sidik Hj Rono.. Boleh tahan jugalah sedapnya.. Lagi satu, tak ramai orang kat situ.. cepatlah dapat apa yang dipesan.. :-)
Harga pun oklah.. biasalah sekarang 70sen secucuk..

Kami pesan 20 cucuk sate ayam

Sate ayam

5 cucuk sate daging dan 5 cucuk sate perut

till then,
love love..

A reward for myself

Assalamualaikum,

I'm not feeling very well since last Friday.. Sore throat, cough, flu, mouth ulcer and on-off fever.. So, today I didn't go to the lab.. (hope that my supervisor is ok with it, HOPEFULLY!).
Last Saturday, I decided to bought myself a perfume. This is a brand new perfume from Nutrimetics of Tupperwarebrands. I really love the smell.. :-)

Ok, friends.. I want to take some rest and go to the clinic later this evening..

Till then,

Berehat di Cameron Highlands

Assalamualaikum,

Dah lama nak taip post ni tapi asyik tertangguh sebab susah nak upload gambar.. tak tahu kenapa..

till then,
love love..

Couple Tie the Knot 75 Years After Their First Kiss

No one can tell newlyweds George Raynes and Carol Harris that they rushed into marriage.

The 83-year-olds tied the knot this past Saturday — 75 years after their first kiss at the tender age of 8. The couple grew up in the small town of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada and met in 1936 in the first grade. Two years later, Harris was cast as the beauty and Raynes as the prince in the third grade production of "Sleeping Beauty."
“The teacher said I didn’t really have to kiss her, but I wanted to,” Raynes tells Yahoo Shine of planting a wet one on his wife more than seven decades ago. Harris fondly remembers the smooch, too, telling Yahoo Shine, “It was a first kiss for both of us.”
The pair remained friends throughout high school (although they were never romantically involved), and when Raynes's family moved away in 1948, the two built separate lives: Raynes embarked on a career at Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, married, and had three sons. Harris stayed in Saint John and became a teacher — a position she held for 38 years — and though she had a few boyfriends over the years, she never married. “While other friends accepted being single, I never did,” Harris admits. Over the years, the pair kept in touch by phone and even got together for lunch when Raynes visited Saint John. “We have been friends for years,” says Raynes.

So it didn't seem out of the ordinary when Raynes reached out to Harris in June after deciding to drive 800 miles to Saint John in his new Mazda Miata — a car he bought to help console himself after the recent loss of his wife of 61 years to ovarian cancer. According to Harris, they drove around the city together and Raynes even let her drive. “You know what they say,” Harris jokes, “If you can get the keys to a man’s car, you can get the keys to his heart.”

To wit, after a whirlwind courtship, Raynes proposed on Aug. 20 and the pair were married last weekend in Saint John, in front of friends and family in a ceremony they both describe as “joyous.” After reconnecting with "the one" at age 83, Harris has a little advice on finding love late in life: “For anyone who wants to get married, don’t give up. It’s such fun to have someone to go hand-in-hand with.” And, adds Raynes, “To drop into bed with, too.”

In a captivating display of learned behavior, a female cheetah named Malaika at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya climbs onto tour vehicles as a means to gain elevation to make it easier to spot prey on the horizon.

Sanjeev Bhor, a wildlife photographer since the age of 10, captured such a moment in an image he has submitted to the 2013 National Geographic Photography Contest.
According to Bhor, Malaika’s habit of using Jeeps as a hunting tool was learned from her mother, Kike, who learned it from her mother, Amber.
Bhor called the photo “Dare to Dream,” but not because the cheetah was dreaming of her next meal. It was for the “brave” woman who surprised him, and perhaps the cheetah, by popping up out of the Jeep’s roof and taking close-up photos without any regard to the dangerous predator. “Her act was so rare that someone Dare to Dream [sic],” Bhor wrote. The man behind her did, too, apparently.
Bhor’s intriguing cheetah photograph is among more than 1,000 photos already entered in the contest, which ends November 30. Here are a few fascinating samples, led (above) by Bhor’s photo:
I was very lucky of sighting and photographing Malaika, the name of the female cheetah at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya. (Malaika generally means “angel” in Swahili). She is well-known for her habit of jumping onto vehicles. She learned that from her mother, Kike, and Kike from her mother, Amber. We saw Malaika hopping onto the Jeep and scanning the horizon for prey. I was lucky to see and capture this act of her by camera. And surprisingly the lady who was so near to the cheetah was so brave that she started taking photographs even though she was so near to predator. Her act was so rare that someone Dare to Dream.

Two praying mantises appear to be boxing on a narrow twig in Kahramanmaras, Turkey, located at the foot of Ahir Mountain. The mantis insect family has more than 2,400 species. It is commonly called a praying mantis because of the insects’ prayer-like posture with folded fore-limbs.

Carezza Lake is a pearl of the Dolomiti [in Italy]. Nestled between an ancient forest of grand firs and the Latemar Mountain, it is place of legends and beauty. A nymph lives under its emerald waters. I threw a little stone in the water to add a little mystery to the scene.

Eastern Screech Owls like to take over woodpecker nests that have been dug out over the years in pine trees, which are the main species of tree at this swamp. Fish and Wildlife also paints a white ring around the base of a tree that has active nests in order to avoid when conducting controlled burns. Screech owls can range in height anywhere from 8 to 10 inches, so you have to have a sharp eye to find these little birds of prey.
I spent the first few weeks of April this year photographing the grey morph screech owl that was living in the nest and had no idea there were three owlets inside.

This area is known as Çankiri Salt Cave and is believed to have been operated by Hittites (3,000 B.C.) 5,000 years ago. This area has the largest rock salt reserve in Turkey. This area started 25 kilometers east from Çankiri, and rock salt production was made by the mining method “room and pillar system.” Although a relatively narrow entrance gallery, the galleries where production was made resemble highway tunnels. Salt cavities, 400 meters under the Earth’s crust, thick of blood vessels, separated orderly rooms and pillars. In other words, parallel galleries designed in salt cavities.

We just went to search for the leopard in the morning, but we found a group of giraffes come toward a small lake that start drinking. It was a nice moment when the giraffe finished drinking and left a letter “S” with a motion in the air.

The picture is captured using special hide placed to the primeval forest in Finland [sic]. High trees offer protection to the brown bear cubs being vitally important to survive from all dangers around them. Bear cubs are threatened especially by the other male bears, who might attack and take their lives without any doubt. Thus fast climbing on trees is one of the most important skills for bear cubs in order to survive, and they are always ready for it.

Happy 3rd anniversary to us! (11 Muharram)

Assalamualaikum,

We started our 3rd wedding anniversary celebration with a simple lunch at home.. hehe.. I don't know why we didn't want to eat rice last Friday afternoon.. so we had some kiwi and keropok lekor..

Kiwis!

Keropok lekor

So, after went back from the lab, we decided to go to IPC Mutiara Damansara for dinner.. We chose Nando's!

Nando's!

What we had were these..

I had Lime herb chicken, wedges and grilled vege

My hubby had lime herb chicken and sweet potatoes

We cannot eat spicy foods or sauces so we chose these two sauces..hehe

Then, the waiter gave us a few postcards.. It is a contest! (I love it). So we just have to fill in the postcard and tell Nando's what we want to do if they gave us some money (up to RM50K, ya'll). What did I wrote? It's a secret between me and Nando's. Hehe.. If I won (in sha Allah), I will tell you what I wrote. Ok? And please pray for me.. ( I really want to win.. haha!).

And there are other postcards too.. These are different with the one above. You can claim chicken wings and cokes if you write your feelings (or secret) on the postcards.

Actually, we planned to had lunch at KL Tower (Atmosphere 360) but no seats are available for this weekend.. (I'm very disappointed), but it's ok.. maybe next time..
Want to know what we do after the dinner? Stay tuned..

p/s: Happy anniversary to my dear Cik Su ( http://lobaksusue.blogspot.com/). We share the same wedding anniversary date! I hope you had a wonderful annivesary celebration too! Hugs hugs!

till then,
love love..
